Today Congressman Patrick McHenry announced that he has received the endorsement of the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC).
CCAGW PAC based its endorsements on candidates’ lifetime scores in CCAGW’s 2019 Congressional ratings. McHenry’s record earned him the ranking of “Taxpayer Hero.”
The group stated that McHenry has been a strong and reliable vote to, “curb government waste and reform Washington.” They also cited McHenry’s work to enact and retain historic tax cuts and support deregulation.
“I am honored to be endorsed by the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste. Before the pandemic struck, I worked to pass historic tax cuts and cut burdensome regulations that allowed our economy to boom,” said Congressman McHenry. “Now more than ever it is important to continue to keep taxes low and oppose big-government takeovers so that America’s small businesses and families can recover.”
As the Republican leader for the House Financial Services Committee, McHenry is a strong advocate for fighting Washington regulations that have made America less competitive, closed community banks, and hurt North Carolina families.
CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization. CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
