Campaign Trail Update – December 16, 2019

What a great week on the campaign trail in NC10! I have enjoyed speaking with longtime supporters and meeting new friends. The people of NC10 are strong conservatives and are standing with me in support of President Trump.

We had a wonderful time last Saturday at the Catawba GOP Christmas Breakfast. Cecelia and Rese enjoyed visiting Santa and it was great to catch up with friends in Catawba County. Our family is grateful for your support.

Later in the day, I stopped by to have lunch with GOP activists in Yadkin County. Yadkin is one of the new counties in the 10th District under the maps that will be used in the 2020 election and I am thrilled to have this stronghold of Trump County in NC10. Thank you for the hospitality!

On a cold and rainy Friday, I was grateful for a warm reception in Stokes County!

First, I had a great lunch with Stokes County Sheriff Mike Marshall, Stokes County GOP Chairwoman Virginia Smith, and Stokes County GOP Vice Chairman Joey Lemons. I appreciate their valuable insight and I am grateful for their strong leadership in Stokes County.

After lunch, I had a great time touring around King with Representative Kyle Hall. Kyle is a leader in Raleigh and in his community. I spoke with local business owners about the booming Trump economy and the strong outlook for 2020. Thanks to Kyle for the hospitality!

I ended my day in Stokes County by visiting with the brave first responders of the King Fire Department. Thank you to Chief Steve Roberson for the warm welcome and thank you for keeping our community safe.

I also want to thank King Mayor Jack Warren, King Councilman Rick McCraw, and King City Manager Homer Dearmin for stopping by. It was a pleasure to meet you all.
