I am thrilled that the RNC has picked Charlotte as host for the 2020 Republican National Convention. Charlotte is a proven host city and I am certain my home state will welcome delegates and visitors from across the country with the hospitality we are known for. It is a great time to be a Republican and I am excited for my constituents in Western North Carolina who will only have a short drive to witness this momentous event.
I read Jim Morrison’s recent liberal attack on Congressman McHenry with great humor because this one has a new twist – an endorsement of a so called “Republican” primary challenger, Gina Collias. Of course someone like Mr. Morrison, who has savaged Mr. McHenry and President Trump for months with every liberal attack in the book would fawn over a progressive liberal like Gina Collias.
I have read a few letters recently attacking our Congressman Patrick McHenry and I would like to say that our Congressman certainly represents our values. That is why he has been re-elected by large margins several times.
As we embark on another election cycle with to the United States Congress, several suspected terror incidents around the world prompted me to share my experiences and interactions with Congressman Patrick McHenry and his staff.
